Mutations of the RET Proto-oncogene in Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma

Primary human MTC's from patients iwth MEN2a, MEN2b, FMTC, and sporadic tumors were sequenced for mutations in the RET proto-oncogene. June 2993 - August 1993.

Development of Murine C3/BGal Fusion Gene
Preceptor: Donal Coffey, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine

A model to direct the expression of genes to the murine prostate gland was created with a C3/BGal fusion product. A transgenice mouse was made with teh fusion gene. June 1991 - August 1991.
