Laryngeal Dissection and Phonosurgery Workshop for the Physician

The Emory Department of Otolaryngology's Laryngeal Dissection and Phonosurgery Workshop is designed to offer practicing otolaryngologists and otolaryngologists-in-training advanced instruction in laryngeal surgical procedures. Three hours of didactic material will cover awake laryngeal procedures, endoscopic phonomicrosurgery, and laryngeal framework surgery, after which four hours of hands-on instruction in the cadaveric dissection laboratory will provide supervised practice of the breadth of laryngeal surgical procedures.


The February 6, 2015, course was a significant success. 2016 course dates will be posted upon confirmation.


The Emory University School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of seven AMA Physicians Recognition Award Category 1 Credits. Each physician should only claim credit equal to their participation.
