Welcome to the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery
at the Emory University School of Medicine.
Since its founding 50 years ago, the key to the Department's pre-eminence
in clinical care in the South East has been its commitment to teaching
and research. Through participation in these important activities,
the already experienced faculty maintain their skills on the cutting
edge of modern otolaryngology. We are committed to providing efficient
and cost effective care for complex and difficult problems as well
as routine health matters. For those patients needing help for problems
beyond Otolaryngology, the expertise of the entire Emory Faculty
is available for consultation. We look forward to providing your
care today where the ideas and innovations for tomorrow are generated.
As part of the Department of Otolaryngology, the Emory Tinnitus
and Hyperacusis Center offers treatment in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy
exclusively by one its developers Pawel J. Jastreboff, PhD, at the
Emory Clinic Central Campus location.
Supported
by a team of specialist, our board-certified plastic surgeon Seth
A. Yellin, MD, at the Emory Facial Center relies on the latest techniques
and state-of-the-art equipment to improve and enhance your facial
appearance.
As
a more convenient location for those who live north of Atlanta,
we have established our Johns Creek Audiology & Hearing Aid
Center where audiologist Deborah Woodward provides services for
hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, and much more.
A
recent addition to our team is the Emory Voice Center at Crawford
Long Medical Office Tower where Michael M. Johns, III, MD offers
care for the professional voice as well as voice and larynx conditions
of all types. He is also joined by Edie Hapner, PhD, who specializes
in speech therapy and voice disorders.
Thank
you for choosing Emory Healthcare, and we look forward to providing
all of your healthcare needs!
